A total of 11,101 students enrolled during the 2017 spring semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

The University of Alabama awarded approximately 5,000 degrees during spring commencement May 5-7. Over 400 students were named to Fort Lewis College's Dean's List for the Spring 2017 semester. These students took at least 15 credits of gradable hours and achieved a 3.60 or higher grade point average.

The following students graduated from Azusa Pacific University on Sat., May 6, 2017, and joined approximately 1,700 graduates at the Spring commencement ceremonies.

Kappa Omicron Nu initiated 32 College of Human Sciences students on March 28, 2017.

In a ceremony on Saturday, December 17, 2016, more than 200 Fort Lewis College graduates and their families packed Whalen Gymnasium for Fall Commencement. The speaker chosen to offer the Commencement Address was Leslie Goldstein, senior lecturer in the FLC Freshman Math Program and winner of the FLC Alice Admire Outstanding Teaching Award.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.50 GPA for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.

The following students graduated from Azusa Pacific University on Sat., December 17, 2016, and joined approximately 1,202 graduates at the winter commencement ceremonies.

Dean's List honors are earned by undergraduate students who carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.

The University of Alabama awarded some 2,270 degrees during winter commencement Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016. With this graduating class, UA will have awarded more than 257,000 degrees since its founding in 1831 as the state's first public university.

Biola University named 1,575 students to the Dean's List for the Fall 2016

Common Ground is a network of facilitators trained in an anti-bias educational program that promotes cultural awareness and combats discrimination. They accomplish this through education and awareness and by connecting students, faculty and staff and community members in intercultural dialogue and introspective activities. These students have completed the Common Ground Facilitator training, a three day, 18 hour course geared to develop and enhance facilitation skills, which helps participants move beyond the surface in dealing with issues of bias, privilege and multiculturalism.

Wheaton College vocal and musical ensembles performed in "Love Divine," the 2016 Christmas Festival presented by the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music.

The Fall 2016 semester welcomed new transfer and freshmen students from all over the country to Durango, Colorado.

Thirty-six outstanding students in the Iowa State University College of Human Sciences have been initiated into Phi Upsilon Omicron, a national honor society in family and consumer sciences.

Approximately 300 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's summer graduation ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 8, at the HTC Center. Pam Martin, Ph.D., professor of politics and international relations, discussed the true value of their diplomas as they begin a new chapter in their lives and placed the new graduates' achievement in a global perspective. "Slightly under 7 percent of the world's population has the degree that you have earned today," she said. "Sixty percent of your fellow U.S. citizens do not have such a degree. Given these statistics, it is clear that you have something to celebrate today!"

Senior level Art & Design majors from Fort Lewis College exhibited their creations in the Art Gallery during their exhibition, End of the Line. The works on display showed advanced projects in media ranging from graphic design to fine art. Participating students designed, curated and installed the exhibition, which lasted from April 17 – May 1, 2015

Azusa Pacific University students served in local ministries through the Center for Student Action during the fall semester with the City Links program.
